The atmosphere in Finance changed dramatically depending on the stage of the monthly/quarterly cycles, ranging from really quiet to very busy at month/quarterly ends.

Reasonably cheap in Portsmouth, the nightlife isnt exactly thriving but it is what you make it..

Yes, we had christmas parties and monthly socials. I also played hockey for an IBM team throughout the year.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

IBM was a great company to work for, I would love to go back but the placement year does not secure you a job by any means!! Great opportunity and a massive learning experiance for me.
