About You
good fun, got better as the week progressed
a large group of interns made it more difficult to feel valued individually
we had a mentor who supported us throughout the week. she went out of her way to help us!
tips on presentation and selling, how to convey the key points effectively
The Company
planned and executed perfectly, with a schedule packed with different activities to keep us attentive at all times
staff and fellow interns were friendly. people were generally relaxed, but aware of the work they had to do
not much, but the sessions were very informative
case studies and interactive sessions gave us an idea of what a full time job would consist of, and talking to employees at networking events gave us a more honest view of the different roles.
the core values of the firm were emphasized throughout
helped me to decide the areas that I definitely wasn't interested in, that I might be interested in, and that I was definitely interested in
Everything Else
I should be reimbursed expenses...
work shadowing in small groups or individually allowed us a good opportunity to get to know analysts. there was a welcome lunch on the first day and also a dinner at the end of the week, giving us an opportunity to talk to senior figures
at times there were too few representatives, but quite good overall
shadowing employees gave me an insight to this. opportunities to get involved in a range of activities, from charity to sport
very informative and varied.
