    • Barclays insight week is the best one I've ever attended!

    • At all times we were welcomed and treated like equally important employees of the company. Many interns were comfortable enough to speak as though we already worked at Barclays.

    • We constantly had professionals from different backgrounds and different experience levels helping us and leading the workshops.

    • The workshops were extremely helpful in gaining professional skills.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Everything was very well organized and flowed flawlessly.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Though there were times where we had to seriously get down to work, the atmosphere was light and fun. Above all, everyone was polite and respectfully to each other, which is very important when you have such a diverse group of people. In general the week was very fun.

    • Barclays clearly invested a lot of time, money, and effort into making sure the spring insight week fulfilled our expectations.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • The work shadowing sessions provided an unlimited amount of information and insight into the daily responsibilities of each professional. All of my questions were answered thoroughly.

    • Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between false "values" that are created just to make the company look good and real values. Throughout the week, we got to see that Barclays culture truly reflects their values.

    • The week was so informative that I have an ample amount of information to make my decision now.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Accommodation was paid for, travel was reimbursed, also £250 was paid for the week for any "extra expenses".

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of opportunities to meet employees of different seniority.

    • Very useful, lots of people to network with. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

    • There are very many networks of people based on interests - I feel like there is a group for everything!
