  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was fun because of the other interns i worked with. I enjoyed the tasks and the work environment.

    • My team is friendly and i got on really well with my mentor.

    • I had a weekly meeting with my mentor where we talked about the tasks for the week. i was able to go to him for help at anytime.

    • Depend on what the team is working on. At times we were busy and sometimes we didn't have much to do. It was a good time to work on my own projects.

    • I was given some important tasks. i felt part of the team.

    • I have learned so much during my placement and can't believe how far I've come. i had the opportunity to work on my weaknesses and feel like it will help me in the future.

    • I took a while for me to get a reply and i started the internship late.

    • Since HP is a big company there's a chance to get into different fields.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, we had a lot of social events and spend a lot of time together outside work.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Bristol is a nice town and not too expensive there's a lot to do and see.

    • There a lot of good clubs , restaurants and bars in town.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • The interns have a social sports club where we go play badminton or squash. we get a free gym membership.
