About You
No day was the same in the job, and therefore I thoroughly enjoyed the insight as I knew that I would learn something invaluable each day.
Yes, I felt very valued, as if I was any other member of staff within the company.
I would always be offered help on anything that I did, and I knew that all I had to was ask for help if I encountered any problems.
The skills I acquired and developed will be able to be utilised throughout my working life.
The Company
The insight was well structured so that I was able to work on every topic that I wanted to cover.
The atmosphere was very friendly, and I was always encouraged to provide my opinion on issues within the business.
I had a mentor that ensured that I got everything that I wanted out of the insight.
It gave me a much greater insight as to what full-time work would be like. It was much different than any part-time work I have done.
Very much so, although I had worked in teams in various situations before, the office environment was a lot different and I enjoyed it. It gave me reassurance that this is the type of work that I want to go into after university.
Everything Else
I got paid minimum wage.
I was able to have lengthy discussions with all members of the office staff, and I was interested to hear their views. They were very honest and did not make the careers look flawless.
There weren't really any, however the company put me in touch with someone who is a financial advisor to give me advice about professional exams.
This topic wasn't at all mentioned.
Yes definitely, the skills taught in these insights are not able to be taught through theory in university.
