The Role
When I was doing work it was great but there was a lot of time spent doing nothing.
My colleagues treated me as part of the team and not just as a student
Supervisor helped me any time I needed it
Some days I had nothing to do, other days I worked at my own pace on my project.
I was given a project and it was entirely y responsibility to complete it.
The skills I gained have been extremely useful now
The Company
Relaxed atmosphere, not at all stressful and fun at times.
I had no project at the start and the first month was spent trying to get me work to do. In my particular case there was no internship system as such and once I received a project I completed it along as part of the team
Everything I did developed my skills but there was no direct training procedure.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
Good company thats expanding, future seems bright!
The Culture
No. One training day at the start gave me the opportunity to meet other placement students however as they were all in different buildings I never seen most of these people again. I would have been nice if some after work activities were organised so I could have met the other students.
Limericks expensive but not as expensive as Dublin!
Limericks good fun at the weekends
There is a sports and social club and depending on which group you are in there may be regular events organised at night
