  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The placement showed me how it is to work in a large multi national corporation, working with people from different timezones and cultures is something I value from the experience. I also discovered some new areas in my field that I really enjoy working on.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company funded me to attend a few technical conferences which also had the benefit of enabling me to meet other people in the industry. At Intel, there are a lot of experts in their fields, and you have easy access to them whilst working at Intel.
