  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Lots of Responsibility - learnt lots of new skills for the future

  • Valued highly by colleagues (The odd 1 or 2 stuck in the dark ages who are a bit patronising) not bad out of about 120 direct colleagues.

  • Very supportive supervisor - offered me great support and guidance

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • In reality too Busy (But was okay for me) - always lots to do put in a lot of extra hours.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In a small sub-team so if Supervisor was away I was fully in control of ISW-HPC (Supporting EMEA / Some US, Asia customers)

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Not only life and business skills but the technical knowledge and expertise is irreplaceable.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fun for me (In a Lab surrounded by technology) but some could see it as dull.

  • Well organised - pre-determined mandatory training, regular 1 on 1 with manager.

  • Got a reasonable amount of travel - varies by position within PTEG

  • They do re-employ... Depends on the area you go into. (They will not offer you a job before you leave - you will here a couple of months before you graduate.

  • N/A .... I'm anti-social :)

  • Not to bad but it is on a London Commuter route so prices are a little higher.
