The Role
Really enjoyed working in london and the project was very interesting.
I felt very valued my opinion was always taken into consideration and i was even asked too work longer until I went back to uni.
I had a buddy engineer who was always available, and any other people in the office were more than happy to help.
On the whole, I had the right amount of work to do. I had to stay late some nights, however this wasn't too often
I was put in charge of a few tasks that needed completing, so i was given full responsibility.
I am doing a concrete module this year, so the use of concrete during work has helped me. The knowledge I gained has also helped me write my 3rd year module report.
The Company
Hard working, but a lot of fun. Also socialising on a friday after work.
Didn't have that much info. before starting, however during the placement, it was well organised.
I feel they have invested a lot, as they are sponsoring me through uni.
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Healthcare/Dental
Am sponsored, so have a job when i finish uni.
The Culture
Met for drinks with both other students, and colleagued after work regularly.
As i was in london, drink and food prices were pretty high.
Pubs and bars were always busy after work.
There was a staff football team I was asked to play in.
