The Role
Didn't enjoy being so out of my comfort zone though I can appreciate the benefits of this style of leadership
Didn't make great friends with colleages, sometimes referred to as the intern. Didn't really ever communicate with people in the office who aren't in my team - they're very work focussed
Fantastic management style, learned a lot in a short time
Very busy, set hard KPIs to meet though this worked well for me to meet them
Calling candidates and clients from the first day!
Fantastic training given from different people in the team, really beneficial
The Company
Very pressurised sales office - not much chat at all, very work focussed especially in my team.
Very well organised, knew where to be on what dates and who to turn to with questions
A lot of time and effort invested in training
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
I now know recruitment is not a career choice I am interested in due to the work life balance, though the option is there after I graduate
The Culture
No social scene really
Cost of living very cheap in Newcastle
Newcastle has fantastic nightlife
Not many at all, most occur on a Friday when I didn't work so I wasnt usually invited
