  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Didn't enjoy being so out of my comfort zone though I can appreciate the benefits of this style of leadership

  • Didn't make great friends with colleages, sometimes referred to as the intern. Didn't really ever communicate with people in the office who aren't in my team - they're very work focussed

  • Fantastic management style, learned a lot in a short time

  • Very busy, set hard KPIs to meet though this worked well for me to meet them

  • Calling candidates and clients from the first day!

  • Fantastic training given from different people in the team, really beneficial

  • Very pressurised sales office - not much chat at all, very work focussed especially in my team.

  • Very well organised, knew where to be on what dates and who to turn to with questions

  • I now know recruitment is not a career choice I am interested in due to the work life balance, though the option is there after I graduate

  • No social scene really

  • Cost of living very cheap in Newcastle

  • Newcastle has fantastic nightlife

  • Not many at all, most occur on a Friday when I didn't work so I wasnt usually invited
