    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The team was keen to get me involved and I was able to attend a number of meetings and go on various interesting inspections whilst I was on the internship.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was given a project to work on whilst I undertook my internship that was beneficial to the rest of the team which made me feel valued.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The JLL summer internship programme is well organised with a number of useful training events. I was assigned a 'buddy' (ie. a current graduate) and a supervisor (a director) and I felt that there was a support network available if I needed it.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The internship gave me a useful insight for my academic studies and undertaking the internship helped me to get onto the graduate programme.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well structured. Allowed time to settle into the team, useful training events organised each week and an intern presentation was something that we worked towards at the end of the internship.

  • Very friendly with lots of summer social events to attend!

  • Plenty of training events.

  • Very good insight for the team that I worked in.

  • I think it is an ethical company, with bright and fun individuals and the internship was easily a long enough period to get to understand the company culture.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Plenty of social events to attend. Either with other interns and graduates or with the rest of your team. There were also external social events that I was able to attend.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • A graduate summer party was good fun - playing softball in Hyde Park and then going to the pub. There were also several birthday parties and summer drinks events.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes - these were highlighted at the beginning of the internship.
