The Role
Quite enjoyable
Not much interaction with all of the employees, little on the social side. Some employees more chatty with the interns than others, which is expected in any organisation!
Excellent support from line manager
Reasonable workload, hours were very reasonable
Given quite a lot of responsibility
Advanced my Excel and Powerpoint skills
The Company
Quite quiet but nevertheless friendly
Quite well organised, there was structure such as weekly meetings
Mostly on the job training but also visited by some of the database providers to give relevant training
BNY Mellon does not have a specific graduate scheme, so it is mostly about making your own contacts and networking
The Culture
Yes
The city of London is not the cheapest place but it is a great place to work and spend time
Lots of bars!
There were not any outside of work activities!
