  • Made me feel important, gave me real responsibilities. Good work/life balance

  • I was given the responsibilities of a full-time employee.

  • Time-management, communication, team-work were all skills I developed, which I can use in my job now, as a fulltime employee.

  • The atmosphere was very live and friendly, yet professional. I loved it!

  • Everything was organised, from regular meetings with the organisers, to formal appraisals during the placement.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invested in a few days worth of training from a more senior member of staff. They also gave us skills training for 3 days, which was invaluable.

  • Having completed my internship, I have now continued my job with them as a full-time employee, and I thoroughly enjoy it!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We often met together for social events, as well as regular lunches.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living and socialising was extremely expensive, but the pay helped with it all.

  • Having already been to University in the area, I knew all the great spots already, and have enjoyed it so far.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were training events to get involved in outside work (which i did). Also, I participated in charity work during the placement.
