  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really well organised with events throughout to help me socialise and feel welcome.

  • Everyone made an effort to introduce themselves and to get me involved with their projects as often as possible.

  • I was allocated a buddy and a counsellor who were both very helpful and also opened up opportunities which I wanted to experience while at the firm.

  • My department was very busy but this was enjoyable as the work was varies and I was very rarely found twitching my thumbs.

  • Only so much responsibility you can be given when working with sensitive data.

  • The skills I developed will definately make me feel more confident when faced with new situations.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was really upbeat and although everyone has to work hard there are lots of downtime activities orgqnised to keep morale high.

  • Everything was very smooth and enjoyable.

  • I was able to get involved in actual live projects. This enabled me to learn key techniques and quickly.

  • Offered a job in Transaction Tax.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • People met for drinks most nights after work.

  • Naturally very expensive being in central London but you get what you pay for!

  • Very lively, with lots of different venues suitable for all tastes.

  • Yes there were lots of opportunities such as sports teams and other societies.
