The Role

Role Description

I shadowed several Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers during my summer placements with EC Harris. I also worked with a Risk Manager with Health & Safety issues. Whilst with Project Managers I went on site to snag buildings in development. Whilst with the Quantity Surveyors I helped double check dimensions, measurements and spreadsheet cost summaries and tender reports.

There could have been more work, however, I appreciate that the recession had kicked in and so work load was slowing down and there was only so much I could assist a professional with as I was not fully qualified.
