    • I really enjoyed my time! I learned a lot, made new friends and gained valuable skills.

    • My manager was always nearby to help if I needed it. They really guide you here.

    • I was busy everyday but I loved how much I was able to learn from having so much work to do.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • It was very professional. But it wasn't stiff. There was a time for laughing and joking.

    • You could tell they've ran many internships before. The program was very well organized.

    • They believe that we are the future so they really invested their time and energy into the interns.

    • Microsoft has tough competition for employment, but I've gained the skills I need to make a good impression with them.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We went out to shows and shopping together every once in a while.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I felt it was expensive, but others felt it was manageable. It just depends on where you're coming from.

    • Fun! I always had a good time going out to pubs and for dinner with other interns.

    • There were intern events so we could get to know each other and socialize outside of the work day.
