The Role

Role Description

It was my responsibilty to ensure that a number of the Thomson Cruises ships were filled to a high capacity through effective pricing decisions, determined by analysing sales trends, past seasons sales figures and looking at monthly forecasts. I was involved in promotional tactics if a certain sailing date was underperforming.

Absolutely brilliant placement year! I felt really valued as an employee not just a placement. My work was interesting and at time challenging. I had a great manager and placement leader who were constantly getting us to work on individual skills. The office has a great atmosphere and it was an all-round brilliant place to do a placement. I feel a lot more confident going into my final year and really appreciate all the time and energy they invested in my personal development!
