I was working as web developer for 6 month in asp, html, css, javascript, jquery, php, xml, soap applications development, front-end and dynamic back-end development.

1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

It was really challenging to start a real practical work after the loads of "unreal" university projects. In the school the theory does not show the real life .

In IT there was only one guy who is a real genius, he gave me the best support I had ever and shown me many software engineering techniques that I even have not studied yet. But nobody else :( had a clue ...

I learned literally every day something newer. Especially the IT manager gave us perfect ideas and problem solving methods.

Everything was organized. How to get there, lunch, flat-share, events. This is why I paid for the accommodation and the food :)

It was full of activities, maybe a little bit too many :)

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

I worked as web developer and was really good to be get involved in real projects, how to plan them and finish. In IT I could go to a web developer company in France but I wanted to go abroad then I found this Hotel booking and travel agency that I worked for at the IT department. Maybe it is not for lazy students, because you work your a. off sometimes. It is unpaid internship so you must have erasmus or other scholarship that sponsors you.
