  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a very enjoyable experience, in the process of the Summer Vacation Scheme, you learn a bout Deloitte culture and thinking.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was friendly! You do a lot of socials and can make really good friends.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support received is amazing, you are treated like a new Graduate called a P1. At the same time you are able to have enough freedom to develop yourself. My “buddy” was the most helpful.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I worked way over the 7 recommended hours, but the thing is that what I did was quite fun, so I got into it as I enjoyed myself so much!

  • A lot of responsibility and trust is delegated to us in order for us to develop our skills.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A LOT! I've learnt about my skills, what I can do to develop other aspects of my character. The Deloitte culture is uniquely friendly yet professional and firm, it’s something I would love to learn!!!!

  • Very informal atmosphere though can vary if on client sites.

  • The internship set up was amazing, for all the weeks I had been arranged work but still flexible for me to add things of my own.

  • Training is available for those who seek it. We had training for the interview.

  • National Travel

  • Future employment is bright, everyone in my scheme got a job.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yeah I really enjoyed the socials especially how they catered for different people.

  • It was fine.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yeah there are teams and groups dedicated to group those with similar visions as well as Community Days to make the community around us better. :)
