Mainly work on Highways drawings using CAD.

It's OK but would prefer to work in the contractural side of engineering rather than the consultancy.

Colleagues are very friendly, helpful and polite.

Regularly monitored and supported by my line manager

Varies - some days I have a lot of work to get on with, others not so much
- 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

I have been given a great deal of independence with my work.

I will take what I have learned during my placement and apply it once I graduate.

- There were no perks with this placement

As i would like to work for a contractor my future prospects with the company aren't great

Regularly go out with people from work after work
- 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

Very expensive as i live an hour train ride away
- 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

Nightlife is very good.
- 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

Regular emails were circulated for activities such as golf, rowing, etc..
