Role Description

On the vacation scheme I was placed in the Corporate – Private Equity department. I gained an excellent insight into the typical day-to-day work of a trainee at the firm. My tasks included researching the recent financial activities of a sovereign wealth fund which the firm was trying to attract as a new client. In addition to this, I was instructed by a client to investigate the shareholder structure of an asset management company as well as various drafting tasks such as letters and board minutes.

Enjoyed the scheme thoroughly. The firm is well known to be very friendly and I was very comfortable at it. From Partners to Secretaries, the staff were always willing to help.
