Mainly I assisted on group pension pricing models, as well as bits of analysis and presentations.

Not only was it helpful, I enjoyed it a lot too!

My colleagues were always really helpful and friendly, and gave me lots of responsibility

A few meetings with my manager, but I could always ask if I wasn't sure about something.

Once I'd learned the basics, I was always busy with something!

As above, once I'd shown I was capable I was given lots of responsibilty. The best bit about the internship.

Not only did I learn job specific skills, the presentation and time management skills are helpful too!

Really good, even when it was hectic, people were joking and friendly!

There were internship specific meetings and presentations

As above, there were training and insight opportunities for the interns which was good.

Offered a job.
- 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

We all got on really well.
- 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

More expensive than university, but not too bad.
- 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

Good.
- 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

Good opportunities...if your sport was on offer!
- In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

It was a really useful experience for me, and the atmosphere was friendly, and I got a good mixture of the sort of work you'd get in the business area.
