Role Description

During my internship, I was placed into an Audit team. This involves verifying that a client's accounts are a true and fair representation of the company's operations, and carrying out testing to determine this. I was based at the client's site in the city for duration of my internship and was treated as an important member of the team.

The internship started with a two-day training course. where we developed our presentation and teamworking skills. The skills learnt during the placement will be put into good use when I begin a graduate role.

All interns took part in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day, where we helped to clean up a public park.

The internship is a great opportunity to see what it's like to work for KPMG and experience the professional services industry. All interns are offered a partner interview at the end of their placement, so hard work is likely to result in a graduate job offer.
