There was a good social mix of interns, and we did regular events such as social events and nights out to London.

13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

For what the accomodation was, it was very expensive, and the area itself was quiet.

14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

Egham was indeed very quiet, but only a train ride away from busier areas such as Richmond and Kingston.

15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

Outside of football matches, I found it difficult to get invovled in activities outside of work.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

I would throughly recommend the BP internship scheme. I have had a great time, with great people, and leaned a lot at the same time.
