A mixture of day-to-day projects, daily tasks and meetings while also focusing on a main project throughout the period. Also took part in a competitive Portfolio Challenge involving all interns.

BlackRock uses top quality software which was developed within, and the skills learned from exposure to that, including advancing my knowledge of computer languages, will be used wherever I work. The application of my University knowledge to real life scenarios helped to develop and extend my existing skills

BlackRock as a company has grown on me as I time passed during my placement. Feedback from the analysts and my general perception of the atmosphere make me feel it is an excellent place to work, and I hope to return to the company for a graduate placement.
