  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Cooper Industries' placements allow participants the opportunity to come back on their graduate scheme. The way they are organised means that you get the exposure and experience necessary to get a place on their graduate scheme. A large percentage of the placement students this year were offered places to come back which is a massive benefit of having taken part in the programme.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a great community of placement students, we were based all over the UK and abroad but when we were all together it was a great atmosphere and very enjoyable.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The accommodation in the area was very reasonable, I shared a newly built flat with a fellow intern which was just over £200 a month. The social aspects were very reasonably priced too.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • In the direct local area there was not much in the way of night-life, however Nottingham was just round the corner which is a great place to go out.
