Lots of opportunities like charity work, Christmas party arrangements, etc. You can also be a part of social committee and arrange social events of your choice for your colleagues.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

Cisco really believes in networking (as it is a networking company, lol) and gives you lot of exposure to the senior management and emphasis on making contacts, widen your human network and I guess it has changed the way I lived, worked and played.
