Was given a skills for life session, from how to first introduce yourself to how to interact, answer and ask questions in an interview. Developed my communication skills through interacting with all levels of management, interns and HR as well as answering emails and giving demo's. Was able to join toastmasters, which developed my confidence in being able to speak publicly, do demo's to users and give speeches.

We were given the task of fundraising for the charity of the year and had great fun, brainstorming and fundraising within the office. Also there was a cake morning every few weeks when everyone took an hour off from their work to come together to have welcome the new joiners and enjoy a break from everyday work.

All the interns became very close friends and had a great time organising get together's during the weekdays as well as weekends.

Lived at home rather than move nearer to the office, which meant that there was a fair bit of travelling involved, so needed to make sure I was on my way home before the last train.
