It varied. In the early weeks, it was a nice balance. I could get to the gym, leave on time, etc. Then it got busy! I figured it was expected in an internship, as the duration we are there is limited.

We (our team of 13 interns) were all given tasks and responsibilities. We all felt like we were part of something big.

There were new technical skills learned for sure, but the non-tech social skills are immeasurable. So lucky to have had the chance to learn new skills, and improve on existing ones, in such an environment.

The interns had our own little area in the canteen for lunch, we often had parties and outings that we organised outside of work as well.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

Even thought the size of the company is immense (about 50,000 employees worldwide) so much runs so smoothly. And you don't feel lost in the mix. Also, even as interns, we were respected. A very nice touch.
