I moved around a fair bit in my placement and though each branch was different they all did try to help me develop and I was able to pick up advice and tips from all of them.

Enterprise always runs very tight so expect to be busy all of the time and often juggling customers and calls.

From the start I was put into serving customers, going pick ups and going on sketches where I would move several cars around in sequence away from the office without direct input from my management.

I think if you can stick a placement with ERAC that you will learn a lot of very useful soft skills in particular to take into university and further work.

The office I was mostly based in had a really good level of banter and this helped the day progress.

ERAC take a lot of interns and the structures are there however as I was moved a lot at the start of my placement I wasnt able to establish time to go through the required developments each week.

One thing with ERAC is that you progress quickly with the internal only promotion. Consequently though the basic pay is poor you can soon be earning considerably more as a manager though this heavily based on commission.

I remained at home during my placement. There were area nights out however I was pre engaged then.

I felt there were not that many chances to get involved with other things outside work partly because with a 50 hour working week there was little time left in the week.
