- Role Description
Projects are likely to include:
• Carrying out a ‘skills mapping’ exercise of the charity to allow us to understand which skills are required across the organisation to proactively support teams and place volunteers more efficiently.
• Scoping out the role of Volunteering Representative
o Potentially recruiting volunteers into this role to represent Cancer Research UK volunteering at a careers fair.
• Attending one or more careers fairs during the course of your internship (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Reviewing our external recruitment marketing and identifying opportunities to increase our presence and web traffic to our volunteering web pages.
• Supporting the Volunteer Resourcing Adviser with their work and scoping out a volunteer administrator role for the department.
o Supporting the process of interviewing for this role and inducting the new volunteer.- 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
