During my internship I completed many tax returns for clients. I also attended conference calls with clients which I found very interesting.

If I had any problems my supervisor was always there to help me to solve them. The management team were also very good at explaining what work they were asking me to do before I was sent off to do it.

My team always made sure that I was provided withenough work to keep myself busy but not too much that I felt overworked and struggled to keep on top of it all.

I felt that I was given a fair amount of responsibility because I was filling in peoples tax returns so I knew that I had to do a good job to make sure that the clients were kept happy.

I found that during my time at Deloitte I learned a lot about the different areas of tax and the effect that it has on their clients, which was very interesting.

I had an evening out with my collegues at a local bar where we had a bbq which I enjoyed. Also during lunch times everyone was always very chatty and I felt that there was a very sociable atmosphere.

I did my internship in my university city which is a relatively cheap place to live.
