7 week internship, 1 week of training/orientation. 3 weeks in Audit, working with clients, usually at client offices. 3 weeks in Tax, mainly based in Deloitte offices, still working with clients, helping with computations, taking meeting minutes, meeting with clients and assisting colleagues with larger tasks with their instruction.

Really strong social atmosphere, lots of social organised for interns but also an effort across the company to get colleagues of all positions to mix, partners make a lot of effort to come along to social events.

13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

Commuting into London was expensive and so was socialising.

Lots of sporting activities, and charity events. Social events too.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

Really great placement, was able to sit in two different departments which gave a more rounded view of the company as well as help me establish what career path I would like to pursue.
