Rotation between departments within Deloitte. There is also the possibility to specialise; particularly within ERS (Enterprise Risk Services) Manchester.

3 weeks per department with 1 weeks initial training.

Some days were less busy than others due to the nature of work. Some work I had to do was technical, therefore I could merely shadow, which is understandable.

Quite expensive - but room in the budget for a night out the day we finished. This was all paid for by the company!

Always emails flying around about football matches, fantasy football leagues and community projects I could take part in.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

The first week of the placement was meeting other people on the scheme at a hotel (all expenses paid). This involved both outdoor team building games as well as business case studies. At the end of the week - we got a company laptop with all the trimmings!

My advice is to Meet as many people as you can. Jump in and take every opportunity given to you. If you put the hard work in, it may result in a job offer!
