Some good elements and good experiences although a steep learning curve and some mundane parts once into the routine. Pretty much the same as a permanent job in that respect!

Team fully embrace me, considered one of the team. New manager showed a slight disinterest in keeping a student in the team but was definitely a minority.

After only a month or so I was left as the only planner running the whole category - a challenge but certainly an opportunity to show I could cope.

Everyone very friendly and up for a laugh although as with most fast paced companies there were a few stressful periods for everyone

Little vague when starting - was told there would be an induction day with other students and never received notice. Took about a month for someone supporting placement students to get in touch but now a much better support environment

Sent on a training course for new systems, encouraged at all times to push myself. Hopefully will have more chances for training in the next few months.

Day trip with other placement students, chatted most weeks and spent an evening in London. Possibly could have been better provision from company before starting/in first weeks to create a support network.
