On some days, I was not very busy but most of the days I was busy doing work for scientists and my colleagues.

Other Information
- 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
-
Yes, there was.
- 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
-
It was ok, but better if you had two or three more housemates then the rent would have been cheaper.
- 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
-
The nightlife in Stevenage wasn't that great. It is quite quiet at times.
- 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
-
I'm not sure about the activities outside of work because in my opinion Stevenage is a pretty quiet area. It's not like London but getting back to London took only 20 minutes so me and friends would go down to London and go to restaurants there.
- In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?
-
Working at GlaxoSmithKline was a very good opportunity for me. I have learnt so much and have received very good feedback about the work I have done. In my opinion, the more effort you put into your placement the more you will receive from your colleagues such as great feedback and a starting network for when you graduate.
