Worked on a variety of client facing material with a lot of financial modelling. Involved using excel and power point predominantly.

It was hard work where required but with a lot of fun interspersed between the work again a dynamic throughout my team and the bank.

It was very well organised with a back-up plan just in case for a lot of contingencies be it speaker series events, leaving drinks or networking events. It seemed like there was always a plan A,B and C just in case.

London is expensive and Canary Wharf more so in some ways, but that can be accommodated over time.

Quite a lot of opportunities with volunteering, football etc, time permitting of course.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

It is definitely worth applying and putting your best foot forward in trying to get in as it will give you a great all-round working experience and you will definitely learn from some of the smartest on the street.
