Consisted of two 4-week rotations, mainly project work.

Was kept busy with a number of different projects and pieces of work, while still having enough time to keep up with what was going on in the markets and learn about my business areas.

Bearing in mind that I only spent 4 weeks on each desk, I felt like I was given quite a lot of responsibility right from the outset.

Received a full-time offer to join the company next year, so a lot of what I learnt will be highly relevant. Also, much of what I learnt is applicable to my final year at university so will aid my studies too.

A friendly atmosphere, but also one where a lot of concentration and hard-work are required. But still well balanced with social events etc.

Very well organised. Plenty of events and opportunites to make friends and network. The first week was mainly an introduction week which really helped everyone settle in and get comfortable.

9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

A number of different external training sessions were put on over the internship, beginning with 2 days of classroom based training ensuring everyone was up to speed with financial markets.

Didn't really get a chance to fully explore the full extent of the activities available in my relatively short internship, but I have been told that it is very good.
