The work was enjoyable, however, being there for a limited period of time meant that I couldn't get fully involved with the ongoing deals.

Pre-internship organisation was poor with a lot of changes to the program and limited information. During the internship, this improved.

A lot of social events were organised for us, as well as interns organising their own independently.

As I was in a regional office, socialising was limited, however, I often travelled into London for the social events.

Some opportunities were available, but was limited due to the short-term nature of my placement.

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

Be sure to organise small secondments during your internship - get in early as every intern looks to do these. Its a good way of networking, building up contacts and meeting new people.
