Role Description

Mobile Systems - I was developing software for Mobile PDA's and other applications which rely on the device.

Test - I was preparing test documentation and perform tests manually and using test-specific tools.

Time at cognito gave me an idea of which sector of IT I fit. This helped me to undertake appropriate steps to put my career into correct path. As a result I returned to the company as well educated and certified employee.
The placement year was also invaluable towards the final year at university, as I used the skills gained in Cognito for the final project.
