Working in a branch you are involved in the daily activities: serving customers, managing the fleet, cleaning cars, driving. While you have a training folder to help you learn, develop your skills and hopefully be promoted

My colleagues, managers and area managers, and everyone and head office were always more than willing to help, as everyone at the company starts at the same level, so everyone knows what you are going through and are able to answer any questions or help with your training folder

Throughout my placement, but especially after working through my training folder earnt me more responsibility, until I was running the branch on an almost daily basis

The training scheme is very well organised, although the target is to complete it within 12 months, you work through it at your own pace, with training classes along the way. But I completed my folder in 8 months, so if you are willing to put the work in it is possible

Training and development is one of the company's core values, so although sometimes it may not seem like the most important thing to be done, especially on busy days, if you stay focused your colleagues and managers will help you out

working long hours with colleagues meant you get to know everyone really well. Nights out were rare but when we did go out, we had a brilliant time. marketing events were good fun too

Although we didn't get to socialise often due to the hours that we worked, when we went on company nights out, everything was paid for
