I had a weekly catchup with my line manager, although support was always at hand when needed. Help is always there if you have the good sense to ask for it when feeling a bit lost.

Open plan office, so the atmosphere was very friendly and not at all intimidating. Hardworking people, but a chat was often appreciated.

The company's Graduate recruitment team has an excellent organisation. Individual departments are perhaps less organised with interns.

12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

The other interns are all lively people and the social scene was good. Day-long events and tasks were organised with interns across all offices, which made it easy to get to know everyone and not just spend time with interns from your department.

13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

Living in Reigate itself is not very expensive, but the proximity to London makes the cost rise for those that like going into the City!

14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

Reigate doesn't have a great nightlife (mainly pubs) but London is close by.

15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

Rounders tournament, which we entered an intern team in. Plus various social events: a summer bbq, a few drinks occasions..
