think of new things for new magazines coming out, ring people to make sure they new about there meetings with staff, make drinks for colleagues, read old and new issues to see how different things were. Do research on anyone famous they maybe interviewing, I did all sorts from advertising to writing to being a receptionist

It was kinda hard getting settled in ect but i really enjoyed it I thought it would be mainly women there but it was average men and women which made it easier

as i was helping come up with new ideas and making my manager drinks ect i always got to talk to different workers like the higher roles which was really good and amazing help

Really really well THe only thing that could have been better was my manager she seemed very quite and never came to me always me doing the talking which put huge amounts of pressure onto me but it was well done as it made me work harder

At first i felt left out uncomfortable till i mentioned a joke they were all laughing and since then talked i also got praise for getting someone i know o o an interview who they'd been trying to for months

13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

Kinda really expensive seeing I'd never been too London luckily i had savings that lasted so i was able to get out a few times

Better in the north east but hey we party hard alot! I guess it was good though defiantly a place to go

Nights out day trips shopping all sorts it was really nice seeing as i was only a intern but i had to turn alot down due to uni stuff that had to be done

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

if your shy or ignorant then I'd work on leaving it at the door they like confident students who they can help out not people who don't ask questions or just lay around if its something you really want to do get starting now! i nearly skipped my chance due to reading 2 bad reviews Im so glad i never i felt at home learned loads and the staff were lovely
