It was a great experience. People I worked with were amazing and the job was very much hands-on which I loved. I was given full responsibilities from day one and even though it was challenging, I learned a lot.

My colleagues were the best! Very interesting and diverse set of people, they were one of the main reason I enjoyed my time at BarCap so much. There would always spare you five minutes if you have a question even when it's crazy busy around.They had a present, card and some very nice chocolates for me when I was leaving which was very touching.

I had fantastic support by my line manager. He was sitting close to my desk and we had an amazing level of communication. He was not only my manager but my mentor too.

I was fairly busy but I enjoyed it and I think that this level of business is normal for such a fast paced environment.

I was given the full responsibilities of a regular employee in my team from day one. This presented a very steep learning curve but the satisfaction is immense and there's no better way to learn the trade.

For 10 weeks I learned more than I can imagine was possible. This includes not only technical but the soft skills as well.

My colleagues were very funny and intelligent and there was a lot of banter going on. Of course when there is a lot of work and the pressure is up we all try to focus and be professional.

The whole organisation was perfect. We had a ton of events, there was a lot of networking and everything ran smoothly.

We had a great time outside work hours. Activities ranged from playing squash together, through going for drinks and dinners, to clubbing and pubbing together.

We worked in Canary Wharf, London which is not cheap by any standard but it has everything you might want.

There is not much night life in Canary Wharf but there're tons of awesome places not far from there.

15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

There were loads of sports, social and networking opportunities through out the whole summer.
