The Role

Role Description

You get involved in the whole product development process, working on live and exciting projects. This includes doing Kitchen development work, cost analysis, sensory analysis, taking the product to factory scale and running trials, lead tastings, consumer testing, liasing with the marketing team, working with the label legislation team. I was also involved in a new product launch which meant travelling abroad a lot. You get to travel alot with the job not only overseas but also to visit other UK sites. Heinz are very keen to expand your learning so I was able to attend many training courses such as concepts of canning, sensory testing etc as well as being able to spend time within other functions such as Marketing ad Consumer Insights.
