There was support by the management team in conducting my role, however the fact that I had worked for the team previously on a year long placement meant there was an assumption that I already knew what I was doing.

There were times when the work load was quite light or quite busy. However most of the time the workload was appropriate.

I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility in organising trial setups and writing a trials specification for a very important trial.

I learnt a lot more about testing the overall munition and how environmental testing is conducted. I also learnt alot about how the requirements are derived and developed during the test program.

There was not a huge deal of formal training required for this role, howveer there was quite a lot of on the job training which was quite useful.

The nightlife was pretty good as we managed at least one night out per week in Stevenage with the summer placement students
