The Role
I couldn't put a struggle because it was the complete opposite, but i did enjoy working there especially getting in the Christmas mood and seeing families so happy with a smile
As it's the Christmas period we were pretty much busy all the time we spoke when the place was quiet or empty but we wouldn't talk about much apart from work
support was alright There wasn't really much needed so If it was needed maybe i would have have had more i don't know
Always near enough busy if there wasn't customers there was stocking shelves instead ready for the next customers
None really but It was only a 5 week job there was nothing that could or needed changing
the social skills defiantly was the stronger pint in this job, How to speak to them and offer other things, shop skills were pretty basic
The Company
there was mostly always children in and they'd be at the toy area so they'ed need your help and always play jokes and everyone was on Christmas mood which made the job better I think.
Pretty straight forward not bad but non excellent but I knew what i was signing up for so it didn't bother me in the slightest
They didn't invest in anything other than a quick training session at the beginning of my time there.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
probably not as the same job but I'd try a different position to see what that's like as it was generally a nice place to work.
The Culture
It wasn't that bad But we were always busy doing other things around the store after work was good though
still wasn't that bad, could have been alot worse and i didn't have money problems so I was okay
brilliant lots of Christmas event and parties to go to, Christmas is the best time if the year for so many reasons
Other than to work in different stores in the town there wasn't any but you would't expect there to be around that time.
