Answering the telephone, updating information on company database, dealing with queries, sending out mailers, creating CVs, creating candidate web-profiles, deputising for manager in her absense, stock control, photocopying and filing.

Not very well at all. Did not expect it to be as full on as it was; expected it to be more of a learning experience wher I would be supported

Not really. There was only one other student there and the only time we'd socialise outside of work was on a Wednesday were we'd play football

No outside activities apart from football on a Wednesday evening

In addition to these questions, is there any extra information you would like to leave about your experiences on your work placement that other students may be interested in?

I did not enjoy the experience, due to the fact it had nothing to do with my course what-so-ever. I found it to be a dull, tedious, 9-5 desk job...so if this sounds like your cup of tea by all means go for it!

I would say that my placement would suit someone who is interested in a career in recruitment because there are quite a lot of progression aspects within the company.
