I perhaps had an unfortunate experience as far as my management experience goes. However, I feel that the situation was not dealt with as well as it could have been. Due to what happened I lacked strong basis of feedback and the feedback that was given to me was given very late with no time for improvement. This was aslo due to me not having a sufficient mid term appraisal, and when I asked for a copy of my mid term appraisal feedback to be sent to me I never received it. the feedback that was given in my mid term showed no signs of the feedback that I then received at my final appraisal. A disappointing experience especially as this was HR and if they are not able to get these things right then this makes me lack confidence.

I was kept relatively busy although there were periods were I was busier and times when I was less busy. Some of this was down to the change of management that I experienced.

The experiences that I have had over the past eight weeks, both good and bad are all things that I can learn from and draw on as experiences as I continue with my university carer and beyond on that.

Everyone was friendly and got on very well. The nature of the industry and job obviously means that it isn't always going to be fun but everyone made an effort to maintain a happy atmosphere

8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

Some parts were very well organised and other parts were not. As far as i am concerned the biggest organisational blunder made was a group of us being given the wrong address for the offices on the first day and ending up in the wrong part of london because of it! There were some other small other problems such as room changes with out notification but this could be put down to logistics

very good at investing in you, not sure that it is necessarily in personal training and development but for an eight week placement I think they were very willing and generous with the investments that made to educate and improve development. this was very apparent in the induction week and then with the presentation training skills classes that took place through the internship!

I was living at home and communicating into London which was expensive but I didn't have any additional living costs. Socialising in London is expensive but what else can you expect?!

good bars and as we were based in central london you could access on the night life you wanted to if you wished to!
