    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight placement was extremely enjoyable and gave me opportunities to undertake tasks and project which I had never before experienced. It gave me an in-depth look at the life of a retail agent and gave me a far clearer picture of the graduate selection process and the scheme overall.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt like a valued member of the team at all times during my brief term at the company. Having completed work I was given great feedback and was thanked for my efforts. I was also given the day to day work of a surveyor and so did not feel as if I was an intern in any way.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I was not overly assisted when carrying out work. I was allowed to be left alone to complete the work myself before my mentor going over the work with me at the end. This allowed me to work out what was required myself and so did not constantly feel as if I was useless.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The information that was passed onto me throughout the week was extremely helpful and shall shape the way in which I apply for further graduate schemes and university courses in the future.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight scheme had a very clear structure, and despite a few technical difficulties the departmental overviews gave a greater insight into departments which I had not had a chance to visit.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere during my placement was very welcoming and friendly. I was greeted by everyone that I saw and felt as if I was contributing to the team. Whenever I completed work for an individual they would always give positive feedback and so I believe that my work helped members of the team.

  • The company invested a lot of time in me, giving me the training that was required to complete the tasks that were needed as well as giving up their time to ensure that my experience at the company was a positive one and one form which I gained a great deal of information and experience.
